Obituary of Barbara J. Pace

Barbara J. Pace, 50, of East Haven passed away on May 11, 2017, at Connecticut Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born on September 14, 1966, in New Haven to James Pace and the late Stella (Hickey) Pace. Barbara is survived by her father, five loving children; Chris Pace of East Haven, Jonathan Wozniak of Branford, Matthew Wozniak of Branford, Joshua DiStasio of East Haven, and Julia DiStasio of East Haven. She is also survived by sisters, Donna Seward (Scott) of Branford and Michelle Coomes of Hamden, a brother, James Pace Jr. of New Haven, former husband , John Wozniak of East Haven along with several nieces/nephews. As a loving mother of five, Barbara always made sure her children came first, but even through her hardworking ethic, she always had enough love to go around. Many people can sincerely agree that Barbara has made a positive impact on their lives. Her genuine kindness brought happiness to those who needed it; whether it be friends, family, or peers. Those who have known her, or just known of her, have been and will be infinitely inspired by her profuse strength and resilience. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4 PM until the time of service at 7 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
