Obituary of Butch H Novella

Lawrence “Butch” Novella 69 of East Haven passed away October 6, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born September 19, 1948 in New Haven to Lawrence and Philomena (Sullo) Novella. Butch is survived by his daughter, Lauren Novella of East Haven, sister Rosalie DePalma of Branford, Nephews, Christopher DePalma (Erica) of Branford, Michael Novella (Danielle) of North Branford, Larry Novella of Hamden and niece Jodi Novella of Florida. He is also survived by great nephews, Christopher DePalma, Michael Novella and Joseph Novella and great nieces Gemma DePalma and Teyha Novella and a sister-in-law Joan Novella of Hamden. Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Novella. Lawrence was a truck driver having worked at APA Transport, New England Motor Freight and Westchester Motor Lines. Butch was a car enthusiast, he enjoyed going to car shows and collecting antique cars. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave. East Haven with Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven.
