Marie (Knight) Jennett 84 of Branford passed away with her family by her side on November 1, 2017 at CT Hospice. She was born May 11, 1933 in New Haven to the late John and Ubalda (Salani) Knight. Marie is survived by her two loving children, Renee Jennett of CA and Roger Jennett of Pittsburgh. Marie is also survived by her grandson, Alex Michael Jennett, brothers, John Knight (Gloria), Donald Knight, Edward Knight (Marylou), James Knight, numerous nieces/nephews and two dear friends, Joan Jarmie and Midge Dilella both of Branford.
Marie enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to help others and volunteer her time.
Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Main Street, Branford with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. Funeral services are under the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Marie was a advocate for cats, in her honor, donations may be made to the Greater New Haven Cat Project, PO Box 1432, New Haven CT 06506.
