Obituary of Robert J. Keller

Robert J. Keller (Kielar) 84, of East Haven passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017. He was born March 28, 1933 in New Haven to John and Mary (Prucyznowski) Keller. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary (Magaldi) Keller and children; Mary Sacco of North Haven, Nancy Kilmartin (Mike) of North Haven, Michael Keller (Elvie) of Branford, Tina Mezes (John) of Milford and Becky Norton (Tony) of East Haven along with five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Robert Keller Jr. and Richard Keller and his two brothers, Peter and John Keller. Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from New Haven Board of Education. He enjoyed golf, Polka dancing, playing the accordion and spending time with his family. He was also a big Yankee fan. He will forever be remembered and greatly missed. Funeral service and Committal at All Saints Cemetery was private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. The family would like to thank all the caregivers for their kind and compassionate care of Robert throughout the years.
