George "Ray" Stovall 77 of Norwalk passed away on June 27, 2021 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was born March 27, 1944 in Camp Hill, Alabama to the late Ben and Bertha (Holston) Stovall. Ray is Predeceased by his wife Marian Stovall and survived by his sons, George “Ray” Stovall (fiance, Sarah Greeham) of Vernon and Kevin Stovall of Norwalk and a daughter, Angelina Dickson Henderson (George A Dickson Jr). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kylynn, Ella, Nathan, and Pauline Stovall, George A. Dickson 3rd, Gaquawn L. Dickson and Tayjha A. Dickson and two brothers, Willie Lee and Ernest Stovall and a sister Doris. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Ben James Jr. and Howard Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and any chance to get outdoors even to just read the paper at the park. He was known to many as the hot dog guy from Ray’s place and locally famous for his chilli. If there was a basketball game on you can be sure he was watching, especially the Lakers and Knicks.
