Klever Cordova Sr., 46 of Guilford passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2022. He was born February 27, 1975 in Ecuador to Rufino and Zoila(Alarcon) Cordova. Klever is survived by his parents, son, Klever Cordova Jr. of Branford, daughter, Camila Cordova of Westbrook, companion, Miriam Acevedo and her son, Dylan. Klever is also survived by his six siblings, Marcelo Cordova of Guilford, Nancy Cordova of Ecuador, Freddy Cordova (Alexandra) of Clinton, Maria Cordova of Ecuador, Diana Cordova of Ecuador and Fanny Cordova (Louis) of Ecuador along with numerous nieces/nephews. Klever came to this country with almost nothing in his pockets just like everyone else in pursue of the American dream. A man who was always hard working, he strived to have it all so he can take care of his family in Ecuador. A wonderful father to his daughter Camila, his son Fabian and his step son Dylan who meant absolutely everything to him, he would’ve done all for them. No words can describe the type of man he was but everyone that got the chance to know him, knew he was always so friendly, kind and very humorous with everyone around him. A man with just a heart of gold, he wouldn’t turn his back on anybody that came looking for help. Everyone that got the chance to get close to him, was touched and instantly felt love for him. It was hard for him not to have friends, he couldn’t go a minute without joking around with people; even complete strangers he met in random places became friends with him, he didn’t have bosses, he had friends. He impacted so many lives, so many people depended on his wonderful positive moods to get through the tough moments, no matter what he would make you smile even if you were dying inside. No words can continue to describe who he truly is, he will truly be missed and leaves in an empty space in everyone’s heart. Family will receive mask wearing friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral home), 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven. All are welcome to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 22 at 11 A.M. in St. Francis Catholic Church, 397 Ferry Street, New Haven (Please go directly to the church on Saturday). Burial will take place in Ecuador.
