Doris M. (Lunde) Dahab of Orange passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was 77 years old. Doris is survived by her five children, Ronald Wisdom (Shannon) of Vermont, Christina Magnuson of Milford, and Michelle Whelan (Scott), Angelina Dahab, and Anthony Dahab of New York, along with ten grandchildren, Michelle Ellis (Frank), Cassandra Wisdom, Samantha Wisdom, Gabriella Magnuson, Lilly Magnuson, Liam Whelan, Dillon Whelan, Michael Demirkiran, Layla Dahab, and Riley Dahab. Doris is also survived by her four great grandchildren, Jaelynn, Paulie, Frankie, and Noah. She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Lucille (Thompsen) Lunde and a sister, Margaret Scott. Doris was born on February 20, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. Doris loved the small things in life but most of all loved being around her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone that came in contact with her. Doris loved knitting, going to the beach, eating pizza, meatball parmesan heroes, Chinese food, having BBQs on the porch, and making all holiday dinners–bringing her family together. She was the backbone of the family. Doris had a very kind heart and became the caregiver for her mother, uncle, and sister during their final days. All services are private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, in East Haven.
