In St. Raphael's Hospital, Feb.2,2008, Marie Nazzaro Ferner, 70, formerly of 65 Messina Dr., East Haven. Mother of Donna Mauro of New Haven. Sister of Gloria Nazzaro Ferraro and husband Pat of North Haven and the late Rose Marie Nazzaro Rogers. Also survived by a granddaughter Alicia and great grandson Jayvon. Born January 13,1938 in New Haven a daughter of the late John F. and Mary Fraulo Nazzaro, she was a graduate of the former Borrman Trade School in New Haven and was employed for many years as a professional dress maker. She also taught dressmaking at the East Haven High School Adult Education.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkman Ave., East Haven, Thursday morning at 9:30am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:00am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday morning from 8:45- 9:30 am.
