Peter A. Parrillo, “Crazy Pete”, 61 of East Haven, passed away on Aug. 30, 2008 after a long illness, with his family by his side. He lived a joyful life full of days spent fishing, telling stories, smoking cigars and listening to music. He will be remembered for his constant joking and abrasive wittiness that will be missed terribly. Prior to his illness he could have been found at the Master Bait and Tackle telling endless stories while sitting on the “Liars Bench”. Peter was employed for many years by Amphenol Products of Hamden. He leaves behind a large loving family including his beloved wife, Priscilla “Penny” Keating Parillo of East Haven, his children Sarah Capozzo, Melanie (Peter aka Junior) Tolmei, Michelle(Marty) Gatavaski and April (Kevin) Hellyar,a sister Susan (Louis Parillo Selitte and many more extended family including Angela, Vicki and Kathleen Parillo. He will be forever missed by his eight grandchildren, Joseph Peter, Alexis, Claudia, Kenneth, Peter, Boston, Michael and Lainie. Did you get the X or are you in the circle? He was born in New Haven, July 30, 1947, son of the late Peter and Beatrice Clemente Parillo. Friends may call at Clancy Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, CT., Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Services will be held Wednesday at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Diabetes Assoc., 306 Industrial Park, Middletown, CT 06457.
