At Home, Sept. 5,2008, James Vincent Tucker, 60 of Russell St., New Haven, Son of Eileen Gillette Tucker of New Haven and the late Vincent J. Tucker. Brother of Lawrence Tucker and wife Joyce of Guilford. Loving Uncle of Elizabeth Tucker of Guilford and Mary Catherine Muenker and family of Naugatuck.
Born June 26, 1948, in New Haven, he was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School and then graduated from Boston College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and then earned his Master’s degree in library science from SCSU. He served with the US Marine Corp and had been employed as a librarian for several area institution’s
Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Tuesday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose of Lima Church, Blatchley Ave., New Haven at 9:00. Burial will follow in St. Bernards Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5pm-7pm.
