Hey Josie:
Here is a quiet "good night" and final thoughts.
Ruthie is well. You left her protected just as you did in life.
Mayra told me not to change the car radio. It's still on 95.5.
We are happy we spent that last weekend with you both. Lately I see beauty in Mansfield Grove; thank you, for sharing this with Mommy.
I never thought I'd say this: I miss watching wrestling with you. Mayra said your Vegetable soup was perfect and she'll miss the early morning coffee. I'll miss talks about the weather. I have your razor, so when I travel, I can think of you; and you'll be with me in all the cities I visit.
I'll try to meet your high standard.
The Greeks created - Heroes - so the magnificent would never be forgotten. You are a hero and the definition of a man.
I am so sad you left so suddenly, but so much better for having you be in my life.
So, here is a kiss, on top of your head, just like we would do when I'd say goodnight and go to the Den, and you'd say you were going to stay up just awhile longer.
The meaning or greatness by any measure is to be kind and helpful to those lesser than you.
Good night, but not goodbye Joe, your spirit and loving kindness is everywhere, so we have that to treasure and forever honor.
Rest; know you were perfect, so few can claim that.
We love you
Frankie and Mayra

For all the conversations we had, I now can't find the words for this page. Maybe because those blue eyes aren't looking for a reaction-in front of us anymore.
In my heart, I know you are fine: and have the answers for every question. You are in good company, you gentle man and I feel assured, that Our Lord's loving arms have welcomed you to rest. And is comforting you, on not being here anymore to take care of your Ruthie.
That journey challenged every member of the family, but it was you who showed us the life leason on what it means to care care for someone you love.
I will miss you for the rest of my life

Dear Joe
There's a million things I would like to say,but that would take forever. What I really want to say is I thank God I was a part of your life for the last several months.knowing you and Ruth has been a blessing.I'm grateful that we were able to spend alot of time together the three of us.Never in my life have I ever seen such a loving and devoted man take care of a woman like you did for your Ruthie.I always told Ruth that you were a true Sweet Heart. Some one once told me it's the little things in life that matter the most, and to me that is so important.Spending my time with you and Ruth and getting to know your loving family means more to me than any one would ever truly know.My most fond memory of you is when you would sit out on the deck and look out to the ocean. You did that often. You loved the outside. You loved eating your broccli bread.I think there was a loaf in your house once a week. How about your pancakes and eggs.I sure miss you so much you were like a father to me.I thank you for all your kindness.I will hold it in my Heart Forever.Love and Miss you Always Tracie.....

You will never know the ache and hurt I feel with your loss. I will be forever missing something, and then I will remember - you are gone.
The Sunday dinner table will not be quite the same, I will do my best. Rest well, you are with the angels now.
Your Loving Daughter,
Barbara

Dearest Ruth and Family: So very sad to read of Joe's passing. So much time has passed but I think of you often and was also sad to hear you are in the hospital. I hope to get to see you in the not too distant future. You would've been so proud of Frank. Love you! Linda
