In New Haven, Nov. 7,2008, Albert A. Maio Jr., 48, of Thompson Ave., East Haven. Beloved husband of Kimberly Criscoulo Maio. Loving father of Christopher A. Maio and Albert A. Maio III. Cherished son of Louise Ferrara Maio Bedard of Branford and the late Albert A. Maio Sr. Brother of Thomas A. Maio of Seymour, Mark A. Maio of VT, Robert T. Maio of West Haven, Debbie Baum of Madison, Adele Maio of New Haven, Cathy Maio of VT and Bonnie Maio Nemit of Branford. Son in law of Michael Criscuolo of Branford and Annmarie Criscoulo of Clinton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born Oct. 28,1960 in New Haven, he was a graduate of East Haven High School, class of 1978. He was presently employed at National Lumber Co, in North Haven as director of property maintenance, and had been previosly employed with West Haven Lumber Co. and Sensor Engineering, a division of Echlin Manufacturing. Albert was an avid crabber and fisherman and loved to cook for his family and was fond of singing Italian songs.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Tuesday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4 - 8 pm.
