In Bennington, VT, Nov 9, 2008, Kenneth E. Nerkowski, 49. Son of Thomas I.Nerkowski of Branford and the late Jennie Wahala. Brother of Thomas F. Nerkowski of East Haven and the late Patt Sheehan. Born May 29, 1959 in New Haven, he was a graduate of Branford High School and had been employed as a chef and cooks at various restaurants and was also employed as a machinist. He was a member and past commander of Squadron 89, Sons of the American Legion and was also a past SAL National Chaplain. Ken was an avid guitar player and was a former member of the Boy Scouts and the Civil Air Patrol. He was a US Air Force Veteran. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
