Obituary of Donald Bowes

In Yale New Haven Hospital, December 7,2008, Donald F. Bowes of Estelle Rd., East Haven, husband of the late Mary Ann Zymund Bowes and father of Thomas D. Bowes of East Haven and the late Ronald Z. Bowes. Dear friend of Dorothy Peccerillo of Hamden and brother of Edward Bowed, Shirley Theilgard, Florence, Richard, Victoria and Alfred Bowes. Mr. Bowes was born in new haven, September 19, 1933, son of the late Edward L. and Esther Hemstock Bowes. He was a retired employee of the United Illuminating Co. where he had served for 35 years. He was a long time resident of East Haven, a parishioner of St. Francis Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Church at 9:30. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm. Burial in All saints Cemetery.
