In Old Saybrook, December 25, 2008, Ralph J. “Uncle Ralph” D’Addio, 94, formerly of Osmond St., East Haven. Beloved husband of the late Mary DeMarco D’Addio. Brother of Pasquale L. D’Addio and wife Rosemary of New Haven, Carmela DeMarzo of East Haven and the late Joseph D’Addio, James D’Addio, Elizabeth Vigliotti and Catherine Raffone. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born March 16,1914 in New Haven a son of the late Marco and Christine Caputo D’Addio, he had been employed for several years as a clerk with Echlin Manufacturing and then for twenty-five years with A.C. Gilbert. Ralph was a faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in East Haven and had been a volunteer at Talmadge Park Nursing Home and Covenant House.
Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Tuesday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 9:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5-7pm.
