In FL., Jan. 28, 2009, Carl Dehnel, 82, of Milton, FL. Husband of the late Myrna Nettleton Dehnel. Father of Richard C. Dehnel and Karen Bagnoli, both of East Haven and the late Alan Dehnel. Lcving companion of Helen Riha. Brother of Ellen Billings and Richard Dehnel, both of Meriden, Thomas Dehnel of Torrington, Robert Dehnel of FL and the late June Louise and Harold Dehnel. Also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Born Aug. 22, 1926 in Mildale, CT a son of the late Emil and Alma Dilger Dehnel, he served with the US Coast Guard and had been employed as a truck driver for many years.
Family and friends may call at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven,Saturday morning from 10:00 - 12:00. Burial will be private.
