Obituary of Doris A. Baldwin

In Wallingford, Jan. 29, 2009. Doris A. VanDoren Baldwin, 90, of Bradley Ave., Branford. Beloved wife of the late David S. Baldwin who passed away last year after thirty-seven yea s of marriage. Survived by a step son Winston Visbeck, a niece Marguerite VanDoren, cousins Jim and Diane Milne and a special friend who Doris treated like an adopted daughter, Nan Randall. Born Oct 28, 1912 in Hamden a daughter of the late Walter R. and Ruby Scofield VanDoren, Doris was employed for many years at the Avery Label Co. Boston, MA. She was a faithful member of the First Congregational Church of Branford. A memorial service will be held at the church at a later date to be announced.
