Frederick Charles Jerolmon, 86, of Short Beach Rd., East Haven, died Thursday, Feb, 12, 2009 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden. Beloved husband of the late Doris Levine Jerolmon. Father of Thomas F. Jerolmon , Douglas E. Jerolmon and Debbie Ellen Jerolmon, all of East Haven. Grandfather of Edward and Theodore Jerolmon and great grandfather of Taylor Jerolmon. Brother of the late Doris Behler and George Jerolmon. Born May 18,1922 in Hamden son of the late George and Marie Hallier Jerolmon, he was a graduate of Hamden High School and a WWII U.S. Army veteran having served in England, mainland Europe and Africa. Frederick was retired from the H.B. Pierce Co. where he had worked For many years as a tool and die maker. He was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford, a life member and past captain of the Riverside Vol. Fire Dept.,#6, East Haven and a member of American Legion Post 89, East Haven. Memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon at 12:30 in Tabor Lutheran Church, Branford. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Tabor Lutheran Church, 45 Tabor Dr., Branford, CT 06405 or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
