At home, with her loving family at her side, April 27, 2009, Marguerite Tarquino Cifarelli, 87, of Mill St., East Haven. Beloved wife of the late Adolph Cifarelli. Loving mother of Marie "Cookie " Hansen and husband Donald of Northford, JoAnn McGilton of SC, John Cifarelli and wife Kathy of RI, Joseph Cifarelli of East Haven, Marguerite "Peggy " Arnone of East Haven, Susan Cifarelli-Farrell and husband Frank of North Haven and Adolph Cifarelli Jr. of East Haven. Also survived by seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson Donald R. Hansen, a sister Elinor Cifarelli and brothers John, Alfred and Raymond Tarquino. Born May 8, 1921 in New Haven a daughter of the late Sisto and Josephine Lepore Tarquino, she was a graduate of Hillhouse High School. Marguerite was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompeii Church in East Haven and was a member of the Ladies Guild of the church. She was an avid bowler and a talented crafter who enjoyed sewing and beading. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at 9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford,CT 064058
