Cifarelli, 87, of Mill St., East Haven. Beloved wife of the late Adolph Cifarelli.
Loving mother of Marie "Cookie " Hansen and husband Donald of Northford, JoAnn McGilton
of SC, John Cifarelli and wife Kathy of RI, Joseph Cifarelli of East Haven, Marguerite
"Peggy " Arnone of East Haven, Susan Cifarelli-Farrell and husband Frank of North Haven
and Adolph Cifarelli Jr. of East Haven. Also survived by seventeen grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson Donald R. Hansen, a
sister Elinor Cifarelli and brothers John, Alfred and Raymond Tarquino. Born May 8, 1921
in New Haven a daughter of the late Sisto and Josephine Lepore Tarquino, she was a
graduate of Hillhouse High School. Marguerite was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompeii
Church in East Haven and was a member of the Ladies Guild of the church. She was an
avid bowler and a talented crafter who enjoyed sewing and beading.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at
9:00. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8pm. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford,CT 064058
