Obituary of Lawrence K Harreys

In Branford, Oct.3,2009 Lawrence Kent "Doc" Harreys, 72, of 30 Chapel St., Greenwich.Brother of John F.(Barbara) Harreys of Old Saybrook, Mary Kent Crabtree of Charlotte, NC and the late Charles William Harreys. Brother in law of Sandra Meinsen Harreys of Essex. Uncle of Douglas and Corrie Harreys of Essex, Alexandra Meinsen Harreys of Boston, MA, Sidney Kent Harreys of Philadelphia, PA, Charles William Harreys and Corbet Corrigan Harreys, both of Essex, Bill and Elaine Crabtree of Wilmington, DE, Katherine and Dave Thames of Charlotte, NC and Ann Clark Crabtree of Charlotte, NC. Also survived by several grand nieces and nephews. Born January 12,1937 in Patterson, NJ a son of the late Charles W. and Claire Fisher Harreys, he was a graduate of Ridgewood High School in Ridgewood, NJ and had attended LeHigh University. He was a member of the Army National Guard and had been employed for many years as a technician for Motorola Corp. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, at 10:00am in St. Marys Church, Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwich Hospice, 2015 W.
