In New Haven October 24, 2009 Nicholas B. Pellegrino 76, of Bradley Ave., East Haven. Beloved husband of Alice (Shraison) Pellegrino. Loving father of Louis Pellergrino, MD (Joan) of Manlius, NY, Marylou St.John of Windsor Locks, Deborah Hedison (Kenneth of Warwick RI and Thomas Pellegrin PHD (Carla) of Madison, brother of Maryann Marchitto of East Haven. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jay Nicholas and Christopher. Predeceased by brothers Michael and Louis Pellegrino and a sister Lucille Gogliettino. Mr. Pellegrino was born in New Haven August 1, 1933 son of the late Louis and Mary (Celotto) Pellegrino. Prior to his retirement he was a guidance counselor at West Haven High School for many years. Nicholas was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven Wednesday at 9am. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Vincent de Paul Church. Burial in All Saints Cemetery.
