Mary (Magaldi) Keller 83 of East Haven passed away 10 days after her husband of 64 years, Robert Keller, on December 6, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born November 7, 1934 in New Haven to Michael and Carmela (Mascoli) Magaldi. Mary is survived by her loving children; Mary Sacco of North Haven, Nancy Kilmartin (Mike) of North Haven, Michael Keller (Elvie) of Branford, Tina Mezes (John) of Milford and Becky Norton (Tony) of East Haven along with five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Keller, sons, Robert Keller Jr., and Richard Keller and two sisters, Rose Custodio and Lena Girasole. After retiring from Yale University, Mary's hobbies included reading and watching politics. She also loved spending time with her family. Those who have met her described her as a sweet loving person with a beautiful smile. She was a devoted religious person who was proud of her Italian heritage. Mom was an extremely loving caretaker for our dad until he passed away. Funeral service and Committal at All Saints Cemetery are private and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. The family would like to thank all the caregivers for their kind and compassionate care of Robert and Mary Keller throughout the years. Donations may be made to St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, c/o Building Fund, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven CT 06513 in memory of Robert & Mary Keller. Thank you for being such a loving & perfect Mom. We will miss you tremendously but we know you are at peace with Dad. We love you!
