Obituary of Franz Trinkaus

In Hospice, December 4, 2009, of Alden St., East Haven, husband of Mary Ellen Prindle Trinkaus and father of Jennifer Parker and her husband Chris of North Haven and Franz Trinkaus and his wife Lauren of East Haven, grandfather of Bryan, Kevin and Colby Parker, son of Maria Rode Trinkaus of Austria and the late Franz Trinkaus, brother of Hemi Brandl and Erich Trinkaus, both of Austria and the late Conrad Trinkaus, mother-in-law of Kay Prindle of Stamford. Mr. Trinkaus was born October 20, 1940. He owned and operated Jennifer’s Ice Cream of East Haven, and prior, the Carvel Ice Cream. He was a resident of East Haven for many years and a parishioner of St. Bernadette’s Church. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Wednesday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette’s Church at 10:00. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
