Margaret I. Allen Hall, 86, of East Haven passed away at home on Friday,September 3,2010. Devoted wife of Harold B. Hall for sixty three years. Beloved mother of Corrine Panagos and husband John of Branford, Judith Marzullo of North Branford, Marianne Hall of North Branford and Jean and Joyce Hall, both of East Haven. Cherished grandmother of Theresa Anne Marzullo of North Branford. Sister of Daniel G. Allen and wife Gladys of West Haven and the late Otto Allen and William Allen.Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her four week old great grand niece Olivia Rose who gave her great joy. Born Sept. 21,1923 in Savannah,GA a daughter of the late William W. and Anna Schwarz Allen Sr., she was a graduate of West Haven High School, class of 1942 and was a lunch room aide at Momauguin School for twenty two years until her retirement. Margaret was an active member of for fifty three years of the Bradford Manor Ladies Auxillery Co. 4, East Haven, and was also a member of American Legion Ladies Auxillery Unit 89, East Haven and the East Haven Senior Citizens. She was also a communicant of St. Clare Church in East Haven. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven , Tuesday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 9:00 Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Monday from 3 - 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bradford Manor Ladies Auxillery Co 4, 85 George St., East Haven, CT 06512 or to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St, Jude Pl., Menphis, TN 38105-1905.
