Obituary of Frances Raffone

Frances Raffone 92, lifelong resident of East Haven passed away April 20, 2018 at home. She was born August 15, 1925 in New Haven to Ralph and Louise (Simone) Fusco. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ovidio “Vic” Raffone (1979), son, Ralph Raffone (2015) and brother, Francis “Sonny” Fusco.

 Frances is survived by her loving children, Patricia Beale (Richard Dickau) of East Haven, Suzanne Raffone ( Pat Gentile) of New Haven, Ovidio “Vic” Raffone Jr. of Branford along with 14 grandchildren; Christopher Raffone (Lauren), Adam Raffone (Michelle), Eric Raffone (fiancé Caitlyn Kennedy), Jeffrey Beale, Alison Beale, Michelle Bozzuto (Jason), Jennifer Pollio, Joseph Pollio, Jacquelyn Medina (James), Gabrielle Raffone, Ovidio “Vic” Raffone III, Jacob Raffone, Noah Raffone, Victoria Raffone and 5 great grandchildren, Christopher Raffone Jr., Nicholas Ralph Raffone, Luke Raffone, Leah Bozzuto and Tyler Bozzuto. Frances is also survived by sister, Phyllis Tinari of East Haven, daughter-in-law, Adele Raffone, former daughter-in-law, Ania Raffone and numerous nieces/nephews. Frances was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was her life.

Family will receive friends from 8:30 - 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
