Kathleen Bruce 66 of East Haven passed away peacefully on September 22, 2018 at CT Hospice. She was born December 12, 1951 in Waterbury. Kathleen is survived by her three loving children, Chris Bruce (widower of Antoinette Venditti) of East Haven, Kasey Bruce of East Haven and Richie Bruce (companion, Dana Calder) of East Haven along with her four grandchildren, Cheyenne Riccio, Josh Bruce, Shaun Bruce and Ivy Bruce. She is also survived by her siblings, Nicholas Dillon of New Haven, Mary Jane Desenti of Branford and Patty Trudeau of Branford. Kathleen is preceded in death by her father and mother, Ruth (Rosa) Dillon.

Kathleen was a loving nurse for over 30 years. Most recently she worked for the Access Center. She had an uncanny ability to reach and touch so many people in a positive way. Kathy lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures like chatting with friends, traveling, listening to music and dancing, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family members wish to sincerely thank hospice (of Branford) for their wonderful care and support given in Kathy's final days.
