Cecelia Patricia Angus 87 of East Haven passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1931 in New Haven to Stephen Fanning and Cecelia (Rogan) Fanning. Cecelia is survived by her loving husband of over 66 years, Robert Angus and seven children; Mary Angus (Bill LeQuier) of Readsboro, VT, Paul Angus of Colfax, LA, Teresa Angus-Rooss (Peter Rooss) Somerville, NJ, Mark Angus (fiancé, Ximena Recalde) of Madison, Ellen Angus (Jeff Day) of Colchester, Patricia Angus-Fusco (Ronald Fusco) of East Haven and Julann Angus of Kentucky. Cecelia is also survived by ten grandchildren; Stephanie LeQuier, Peter Rooss, Emma Rooss, Katherine Angus, Victoria Angus, Owen Day, Emmet Day, Richard Andrea, Paul Andrea and Jacqueline Andrea along with one great grandchild; Noah Andrea.

A devoted mother and friend who cared deeply for her children and grandchildren. She has always taught us to be kind and compassionate to people and opened her home to those in need. The pain of her passing can only be tempered by the love that will live on in others.
