Wannetta (Andrews) Maturo 59, of Clinton, formerly of East Haven passed away November 13, 2018 at Yale NH Hospital. She was born May 13, 1959 in New Haven to William and Norma Jean (Russell) Andrews. She is survived by her loving husband of over 41 years, Peter Maturo of Clinton, son, Peter Maturo Jr. (Jennifer) of Clinton, and two grandchildren, Andrew and Maya Maturo. She is also survived by her sisters, Roberta Stanford (Vinny) and Mary Shannon (John) and numerous nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. Wannetta is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dawn Giamattei.

Wannetta was an all around caregiver who stayed at home to take care of her son throughout his childhood, and spent many of her younger years caring for the elderly as a CNA; she also spent time volunteering at the Meriden Humane Society, as her love for animals was immense. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and the love she had for her husband, son, and grandkids.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven at which time her procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a graveside service at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
