Michael Brissette, 49, of East Haven passed away January 6, 2019 at CT Hospice. He was born April 21, 1969 to Herbert and Annette (LaVallee) Brissette. Michael is survived by his mother, Annette Brissette of East Haven, wife, Christy (Croteau) Brissette of Hamden, son, Jason Brissette of Hamden, and his companion dog, “Buddy.” Michael was a graduate of Norte Dame High School and Quinnipiac University. He was formerly employed at Taylor Rental in Branford and at Hamden Rental Company where he became the owner. He also drove delivery trucks for Hamilton Transportation and Staffing at the East Haven Builders Supply Company. He enjoyed attending his son’s football games, fishing, crabbing and watching NASCAR. In his last sickness, he was deeply grateful for the friendship and assistance of his close friends, Christopher Titcomb and Frank Cain.

Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private in Springfield, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Church for Mass intentions of Michael and/or Cameron Wilson, a child who was diagnosed with Leukemia on October 31, 2017 through Go Fund ME at #Camstrong or mail check to Cameron Wilson c/o Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT 06512.
