Obituary of Margaret McGuire

Margaret McGuire 72 of East Haven passed away January 7, 2019 at CT Hospice. She was born December 6, 1946 in New Haven to Francis and Dorothy (Lemmen) McGuire. Margaret is survived by her aunt, Agnes Argento of East Haven, godson, Andrew Argento of East Haven and dear friend, Andree Hostetler along with numerous nieces/nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Francis McGuire and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Margaret Lemmen.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Marys High School in New Haven, Class of 1964 and retired employee of the Regional Water Authority with over 25 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to Europe, South East Asia and Italy, which was her favorite to visit.

Family will receive friends from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven at which time her procession will leave for a 11 a.m. graveside service at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven.
