Lenora Severance, 89 of Guilford, formerly of East Haven, passed away February 22, 2020 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale NH Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1931 in Maine to the late Clarence and Althea (Whittier) Porter. Lenora is survived by her two loving children, William Severance of Springhill, FL and Barbara Becker (Philip) of Guilford along with one granddaughter, Alexandra Becker. She is also survived by her last sibling of eleven children, Leola Curtis of Lincoln, ME.
Lenora worked many years at Weight Watchers where she made a lot of special friends. After retiring, she spent a lot of time with her granddaughter Alex, watching the Boston Bruins and talking for hours on the phone with her sister Leola and her sister-in-law, Doris. Lenora was a beautifully soft spoken and sweet soul who will be missed dearly.
A private graveside service was held at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven CT and under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
