Marta Raquel Davies Zamorano, 81, of Seymour passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Shady Knoll Health Center. Marta was born on February 8, 1939 in Coronel Suarez, Argentina to Onofre Luis and Raquel Ana Maria (Zamorano-Cortes)Davies Andersch. Marta is survived by her three loving children; Marta Eugenia Valencia of Louisiana, Carlos Alejandro Valencia(Mariah) of Maryland, and Cintia Valencia of West Haven; along with six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters Susana Davies Zamorano of Greenwich and Maria Isabel Davies Zamorano of Argentina, and brother Patricio Davies of Argentina. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Guillermo Davies.
After Marrying in Argentina to a West Point exchange cadet; she established residence in Massachusetts. She resided in several places during her lifetime and dedicated her time and life to her family and her care for her patients as a private LPN.
Funeral services are private and under the care of Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
