Ralph Palmieri 66 of East Haven passed away December 16, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born February 8, 1954 in New Haven to Ralph and Anna (Meisner) Palmieri. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jean (Mishiwiec) Palmieri and children; Ralph Palmieri (Mary) of Seymour, John Palmieri of East Haven, Tina Palmieri of East Haven, Katie Iniguez (Juan) of Chicago and Steven Barrett of East Haven. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, brother, Kevin Lee (Lisa) of N.W. Palm Bay, Florida, numerous nieces/nephews and cousins. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, son, Vincent Palmieri, infant granddaughter, Mia Barrett and a brother, Billy Lawler. Ralph worked for Frito Lay for 32 years and was a carrier for The New Haven Register for 22 years. He was also a proud United States Air Force Veteran. His passion for cooking brought him to work in many restaurants and he loved cooking for his family and friends. He loved life and always made friends wherever he went. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered for his caring nature towards everyone he met and his crony sense of humor. All services are private at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Foxon Recreation League, PO Box 120635, East Haven CT 06512 in memory of Ralph Palmieri.
