Francis “Corky” Santacroce, 88, of East Haven passed away December 29, 2020 ay Ct Hospice in Branford. He was born September 11, 1932 in New Haven to Benjamin and Carmella (Gambardella) Santacroce. Francis is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Joann Santacroce of East Haven along with numerous nieces/nephew and cousins. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Rallies) Santacroce (2014), son, Francis Santacroce Jr. (1977), his parents and siblings; Alphonse Santacroce, Andrew Santacroce, Annette Santamauro, Theresa Salvati and Jennie Santacroce. Francis was a faithful and devoted Catholic, he attended Mass daily at various churches in the area. He was a member of Society of St. Mary Maddalna on Wooster Street and St. Andrew on Chapel Street. He was an avid biker and advocate for all bicycle riders up until his death. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Funeral services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
