Virginia Louise (Hall) Starita of New Haven passed away April 4, 2021 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born December 3, 1937 in Hallowell, Maine to Everett Sr. and Lois (Trafton) Hall. Virginia is survived by her four children; Wendy Vedder (Edwin Jr.) of Austin Texas, Joseph Starita of New Haven, Kathleen Mahon (Edward Sr.) of East Haven and Michael Starita of New Haven. Virginia is also survived by five grandchildren; Cailtin Bruce (Chance), Aimee Mahon, Riley Vedder, Edward Mahon Jr., and Christine Mahon along with four great grandchildren. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis Starita (1995) and siblings, Everett Hall Jr., Mary Hall and David Hall. Virginia moved to Hamden in 1951 and later into New Haven. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all. Family will receive mask wearing friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 9 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with burial to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
