Jeanette “Nonnie” Turcio, 82, of Enfield, CT, passed away May 14, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born December 26, 1938 in New Haven to Vincent and Lucy (Paolillo) Discepola. Jeanette is survived by her five siblings, four children, along with eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Jeanette lived her life fully as a strong, independent, and stubborn woman. She loved to bake, crochet, swim and loved living in Vermont. She also enjoyed playing bingo and card games weekly. She was so full of life and will be missed greatly. She will live on with every colorful memory she left with the people who she loved and who loves her.
No words can ever describe how much Jeanette and Joseph Turcio loved each other. Joseph was Jeanette’s everything and Jeanette was Joseph’s world. They are now at peace together, at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
We miss you so much, we love you Nonnie. All services are private with the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven.
