Marion Hinman, 82, of East Haven passed away at home on July 17, 2021. She was born September 7, 1938 in New Haven. Marion is survived by her two children, Sharon Weingart (Calvin) of Hamden and Robert W. Hinman (Melissa) of East Haven, along with six grandchildren: Zachary Weingart, Benjamin Weingart, Anna Weingart, Alexis Rockwell (Krissy Lee Hackley), Jacob Hinman, and Sophia Hinman.Marion is preceded in death by her husband, William L. Hinman (2003), infant son, R. Michael Hinman, and son, William J. Hinman (2002). Marion was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered most for her unwavering love and pride for her family, as well as her quick wit and boundless sense of humor. She was a retired bookkeeper of Lynn Ladder in New Haven with over 20 years of service and volunteered at the CT Hospice in Branford for 17 years. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford CT 06405 in memory of Marion Hinman.
