Robert F. Messley Jr. 59 of Meriden, formerly of East Haven passed away November 4, 2021 at home. He was born May 2, 1962 in New Haven to the late Robert Sr. and Mildred (Pantalone) Messley. Robert is survived by his three daughters, Jessica Messley of Meriden, Gabrielle Messley of Meriden and Alexa Messley of Virginia along with two sisters, Donna Messley (Roland Malboeuf) of North Haven and Roberta Hillinski of North Haven. He is also survived by his niece, Amanda Hillinski (Joaquin Bingham) of New Hampshire and his former wife, Nancy-Jo Norwood of Branford.
Robert was an avid skier and volleyball player. He loved traveling, history, the outdoors and animals, especially dogs. Robert was a family man and loved spending time with his three daughters.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4 P.M. until the time of a brief service at 6:30 P.M. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
