Obituary of Edith Prusski

Edith R. Prusski, 85, passed away peacefully on January, 3 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital. Edith was wife of the late John M. Prusski (1996). She was born on October, 13, 1936 in Bristol, CT to the late Alexander and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Moore.Edith is the beloved mother of John Prusski (Bette), Kathleen McNally (James), Holly Dana (Clayton). She is the loving grandmother of Kaitlin McNally, Jaime McNally Schiller (Brett), Tabitha Prusski (Frank), Samantha Prusski, Johnna Dana (Nic) and Clayton Dana Jr.. Edith was also the cherished great grandmother of Aubree and Charlotte McNally, Harper Schiller and Autumn Rose Gagnon. Edith is predeceased by her sisters, Gloria Ferraiulo, Frances Giordano, Claire Melillo, and brothers Leonard Moore and Henry Moore. Edith and her husband were the owners of Suburban Carting Co., J.P’s Café, and J & E Trucking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her friends Bonnie, Gail, and Madelyn. Edith was a Sunday school teacher, Boy Scout Assistant Leader, Brownies and Girl Scout Assistant Leader. She was always an avid supporter of Branford Hills School and contributed much time to support the school and staff. Edith was an avid gardner, and passed along a love of crafting to many of her granddaughters. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven with burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105-9959 in memory of Edith Prusski.
