Rosemary Porrazzo 103 of East Haven went to be with the Lord peacefully from home on January 2, 2022 surrounded by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Nancy Porrazzo, the day before turning 104 years old. Rosemary in her younger years enjoyed going to the Atwater and East Haven Senior Center. She was also a Member of the East Haven Ladies Guild. Her favorite hobby was doing arts and crafts, reading mystery books and line dancing. She loved holiday theme parties with her family and friends and you could always find her dressed for the occasion ready to dance to the music. For the past eight years she was instrumental in the development of many young children’s lives as an Assistant Teacher in Nancy’s In Home Daycare. She also got great pleasure teaching CCD and was an avid church goer. Many Thanks go out to all her home health aides especially Janice McFarlane who gave such exceptional care and love over the years.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul with burial following at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven. All services were under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
