Joan E. (Williams) Walsh 92 of East Haven passed away January 30, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born December 21, 1929 in East Haven to Luke and Mary Elizabeth (Bauroth) Williams. As a lifelong resident of East Haven, Joan enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and spending time with her ever growing family. She is survived by her children; Barbara Gamache (Wayne) of Wallingford, Deborah Cozzi (Joseph) of Florida, Karen Hausman (Brent) of East Haven, Joseph Walsh (Jerri) of South Carolina and her brother Richard Williams of Wallingford. She had ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren (with two more on the way). Joan was predeceased by her parents, husband William Walsh (1979), her three brothers; Harold Williams, Charles Williams, and Robert Williams as well as two sisters; Anne Bunnell, Francis Pascarella, and her partner in crime and sister-in-law Patricia Williams Fisher. Mask wearing family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with private burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
