Corky served his country honorably in the Korean War and was discharged in 1954. He was a carpenter by trade owning his own company, JC Builders for 45 years. After retirement Pa Cork was always ready to help the grandkids with a hammer in hand. He enjoyed his summer vacations with his family at Lake George and Saratoga. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was never a day that someone would say, “I saw your father at Stop & Shop.” He truly was a good friend to many people. He will now be happily reunited with his loving wife, his “mate,” for all time.
