Anthony Marottoli 79, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, formerly of East Haven passed away March 20, 2022. He was born February 4, 1943 in New Haven to the late Salvatore and Katherine (Mondo) Marottoli. Anthony is survived by his two daughters, Catherine Marottoli (companion, Mark Wiggins) of Denver and Dina Marottoli-Sullivan (fiancé’, Brian Cox) of Sparta, NJ along with four grandchildren, Nicole Sullivan, Emily Sullivan, Sean Sullivan and Ashlyn Sullivan. He is also survived by his former wife, Marie Lato of Sparta, NJ, his two siblings, Marion Marottoli-Mahl of East Haven and Salvatore Marottoli (Alfreda) of Branford and his companion, Inga Wator of Florida. Anthony graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1964 with a degree in Management and began his professional career at the Burroughs Corporation in New Haven, Connecticut. He was quickly promoted to manager of the Boston, Massachusetts office and went on to manage district offices in Michigan and New Jersey. Anthony’s industrious and entrepreneurial spirit led him to Tampa, Florida where he became an accomplished real estate developer, business owner and consultant throughout Florida until his passing. Anthony’s love for his two daughters was boundless and he was immensely proud of their accomplishments. He adored his four grandchildren and always looked forward to their annual vacations to Clearwater beach. Anthony embraced life and lived it to the fullest. He loved boating and was happiest on the waters in Florida. In life as on the water, he was captain of his own ship. Family will receive friends on Friday March 25, 2022 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven from 9 to 10:40 A.M. at which time his procession will leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a 11 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
