Peter Giacomini Jr. 84 of East Haven passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022 at St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born November 9, 1937 in New Haven to Pietro and Romilda (Caponera) Giacomini. Peter is survived by his devoted children, Peter Giacomini III of West Haven, Marlene Stellato (Chris) of North Haven and John Giacomini of Milford along with three grandchildren he adored, Nicole Stellato (Drew Felicello), Marcus Stellato and Gabriella Stellato. He is also survived by his sister, Emma Lipka of Clinton, his former wife, Joanne (CoFrancesco) Giacomini of West Haven along with numerous nieces/nephews. Peter is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Salverio Giacomini, Mafalda Panza, Antonetta Annunziata, Pauline Pinto, Ida DeFelice, Angelina Nettleton Calandrella and Josephine DePillo.
