Laurie J. French 65 of East Haven and formerly of Guilford passed away April 30, 2022 at CT Hospice with loving family by her side. She was born October 1, 1956 in New Haven to Albert and the late Florence (Pascarella) French. Laurie is survived by her father Albert French (Rose) of East Haven, sister, Karen French of Punta Gorda, FL, step-brothers, Joseph Longofono (Marsha) of Kansas, Michael Longofono (Dianne) of Milford, step-sister, Lisa Sarkisian (Steve) of Clinton. She was a loving aunt to Austin and Marissa French of East Haven and several step-nieces and nephews and her companion dog, “Millie.” Graduated East Haven High School in 1974 and attended Stone Academy in New Haven. Laurie then worked for various companies with expertise in defined contribution area of business and ended her career in a human resources administration at Lane Construction Corporation as a retirement plan administrator. Her passion was being creative and had amazing talent for jewelry making, wreaths, floral arrangements and anything she touched. Laurie was always that person who would never come to your home empty handed, every time. Always willing to help her family and friend, she will be missed by many. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a graveside service on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Agnes Cemetery, 295 East Main Street, Branford CT. Please go directly to the cemetery. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford CT 06405 and the Daniel Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 11 Cherry Hill Rd., Branford CT 06405 in memory of Laurie French.
