Mary Pellegrino, 68, 0f New Haven passed away at home on July 23, 2022. She was born January 3, 1954 in New Haven to Nicholas and Mary (Costa) Constantinople. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Joey (Pellegrino) LaChat and her husband, Joseph LaChat of East Haven along with four grandchildren, David Johnson (Marissa Muolo), Natalia Pellegrino, Gloria Pellegrino and Gaetano Tyler Pellegrino and one great grandson, Dominic Johnson. She is also survived by her three siblings, Nicholas Jr., Peter and Jean Constantinople. Mary was a kind free spirit full of love and was always giving to others. She adored her family and loved being a Nonni to her grandchildren and great grandson "little D" as she called him. She and her husband loved spending time with family and having them over their house for holidays, especially summers where she cooked on the grill and enjoyed her pool. Mary was a lover of Looney Tunes cartoons and a movie buff. She loved all creatures great and small. Mary never let a day go by without telling her daughter and grandchildren she loved them. She will be remembered as she lived her life, loving kind and down to earth. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven CT. Burial will be private. All services are under the care of the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
