Mary (Reynolds) Seward, 87 of East Haven passed away October 7, 2022 at home. She was born August 4, 1935 in New Haven to Thomas and Anna (Casey) Reynolds. Mary is survived by her two loving children, Albert Dagliri (companion, Tina Dellacamera) of East Haven and Debra Gaul-Dagliri (companion, George Bethke) of East Haven along with seven grandchildren, Katrina Cole, Karen Dagliri, Albert Dagliri Jr., John Gual IV, Justin Bethke, Joshua Bethke and Michael Reynolds Jr. and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Ruth Ferraro, Patty Capello, Helen Silva, Jean Camp and Robert “Bobby” Reynolds. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James “Jim” Seward, son, Michael Reynolds and four siblings, Thomas Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Anna Reynolds and Shirley Somosky. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling to the casino. She was a retired employee of Yale University with over 35 years of service in the accounts department. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m.on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13 at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959 in memory of Mary Seward.
