Melissa Kline, 35 of East Haven passed away on November 4, 2022. She was born March 20, 1987 in New Haven to Cheri Kline and the late Eric Bennett (2018). Melissa is survived by her mother, Cheri Kline, step-pappy, David Lalama both of East Haven, brother, Jason Kline of Branford, maternal grandmother, Thelma Kline of Wallingford, godmother, Sharon Vannier of St. Petersburg, Fl and godfather, Bill Rioux. She was “Auntie Lissa” to Courtney Patenaude, Alexia Patenaude, Braelyn Patenaude and Jake Kline. Melissa has also left behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, Shane Curtiss and Roxas Kline Heaven got another Angel this week taken way too early from us. Melissa worked in many fields but her passion was taking care of others, handicap, elderly, children and she was a mother to everyone. Her favorite was taking care of her mom and younger brother. Melissa was an avid animal lover and a bit of a home body. She loved all her friends even the ones she didn’t see often. She spent a lot of time with her nieces who called her "auntie Lissa". They were her mini me’s. She leaves behind her aunts, uncles and godparents and many who loved her. Melissa left a hole in many hearts. She will be missed by so many. Family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until the time of a brief service at 8 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven CT 06512. Burial will be private at a later date.
