Obituary of Lance Geyer

Lance Geyer, 66, of New Windsor, NY, sadly left us on February 2, 2023, following a heroic fight against cancer. He was a kind and generous father, brother, and friend who spread joy and happiness wherever he went. He is survived by his daughter Lyndsee; ex-wife Christine; his brothers Donal, Jeth, and Tim; his sisters Lee and Lori; aunt Cookie; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Warren, mother Joyce, and brother Kurt. Lance served honorably in the US Air Force, achieving the rank of MSgt. His experience in the Air Force played a very important role in his life, allowing him to spend many happy years in Germany. Aside from his family and the military, Lance’s greatest passion was the outdoors. He has skied across Europe and the States, and routinely biked 80 miles a day. A funeral service and reception will be held in his honor at 2PM on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the American Legion, 29 Walnut St, New Windsor, NY, 12553. Masks will be required. We invite you to bring printed photos of Lance, old or recent, to the service. Flowers are welcome, and donations may be made to Cancer Research Institute, designated to Head and Neck Cancer.
