Dean Fradiani Jr. 39, of East Haven, passed away tragically from a motorcycle accident on May 7, 2023. Born in New Haven on December 14, 1983 to his parents Phyllis Lombardi Siclari and the late Dean Fradiani Sr. Dean is survived by his beloved mother Phyllis Lombardi Siclari (late Donald) of Wallingford, his two adoring younger sisters, Christina Siclari Ciaccio (Anthony) of North Carolina and Trisha Siclari Kutys (Michael) of Florida, and nephews Aidan and Jonah Ciaccio. He is also survived by an extensive, loving family including Aunts and Uncles Nicholas Fradiani Sr. (Elizabeth) of Guilford, Maria Fradiani of Shelton, Peter Fradiani (Tom Fedora) of Wallingford, Paula Fradiani (James Graham) of East Haven, Bing Carbone of Shelton, Grace Myrick of Wallingford, Tina and Louis DellaValle of East Haven and Paul Lombardi of West Virginia, along with several cousins, Nicholas Fradiani and Kristen Fradiani of Branford, Nicole Carbone and Jamie Carbone of Shelton, Ray Lombardi (Kirsten) of Wallingford, Kristi Lombardi of Wallingford, Rosemarie Miessau (John) of East Haven, Suzanne DeMarco (Dave) of East Haven, Candice Mazzarella (Tony) of Southington, Louis DellaValle and Joseph DellaValle of East Haven, Goddaughter Summer Evans, grandmother RoseMarie Lombardi, and countless other extended family members, numerous lifelong friends and “brothers”, and his beloved dog Adrian. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Sr., stepfather, Donald Siclari, grandparents Nicholas and Christine “Fifi” Fradiani, Raymond Lombardi and Uncle Louis Lombardi. A 2002 graduate of East Haven High School, Dean owned and operated his own landscaping and snow removal business, Fradiani Landscaping LLC, for over twenty years before recently relocating to Florida to serve as a Float Operator and Entertainment Technician at Universal Orlando Resort. Dean had a brilliant analytical mind, and was a man of many talents, hobbies, and passions that brought him immense joy and happiness. He was a dedicated softball and pool player, automobile mechanic, online gamer, and Boston sports fan. He loved snowmobiling and skiing, traveling, fishing, bowling, and the thrill of rollercoasters. Dean’s greatest passions were cars, motorcycles, and mechanics– not just working on them, but teaching others about them every chance he had. He could fix anything – he even successfully instructed his sister on how to change her own brakes via FaceTime. A gentle giant that stood at 6’3”, Dean was known as “The Baby”, “Baby Dean”, “Ninny”, and “Tiny”. He was an easy going, fun-loving, kind-hearted, genuine, loyal, and devoted friend and was loved and adored by all who knew him. He never met a stranger. He leaves behind an enormous community of friends, family, and teammates. Dean’s passions extended beyond extracurriculars, as he had an immense love for supporting the dreams of others, and teaching and helping anyone in any way he could. Dean took every opportunity to extend a helping hand to whomever needed one, and if he couldn’t help, he would find creative ways to do so. Dean had the biggest heart and always showed up for those he loved. His friends could always find him at Dunkin’ in East Haven, up at his auto shop in Durham, grabbing a pizza at Modern or a steak mushroom and cheese sub from B and M Deli in New Haven, or just riding around town. You couldn’t miss him when he was driving his beloved GMC dually truck. Dean’s loss has devastated the entire community, and his admirable presence and infectious smile will be immensely missed by all.
